For Families And Kid

At GracePointe, we want to serve families by equipping and partnering with parents to disciple their children and fostering inter-generational relationships centered around God's word to enhance spiritual growth in all of us.

Our "Family Ministries" include KIDS classes and occasional activities, YOUTH gatherings and teaching, our AWANA program, and a developing ministry to YOUNG FAMILIES. (You can scroll down to learn more about all of these ministries, as well as see what's going on through visiting our Church Calendar)

  • Gracepointe Kids

We want to equip and partner with parents to develop kids who treasure Jesus Christ and love the Bible.

After joining in worship during the first part of our Sunday service, children ages 4-5 and K-5th grade have the opportunity to attend classes where they are taught God's word at their level. Parents are always welcome to keep their kids with them for the entire service if they prefer. Loving care is available during the 2nd service for 2 and 3-year-olds, and during both morning services in the Nursery for ages 0-23 months.

  • Gracepointe Youth

Our desire is to equip and partner with parents to develop teenagers who treasure Jesus Christ and have a Biblical worldview.

Our middle and high school students typically meet together every Wednesday night to dig into God's word, worship Him, pray for each other, and have fun building friendships. We also have special events like paintballing and summer camp throughout the year so students can have fun and form connections with each other and their adult leaders. Check the Church Calendar for specific dates and times and make sure to also view our Upcoming Youth Events and our Youth Facebook page. You can also download forms for camps and events.

AWANA stands for Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed (2 Timonthy 2:15). It is a Christ-based program for children age 3 through high school that meets on Sunday evenings (5:30 - 7:00 pm) from August to May. Children memorize God's word and earn rewards, play active games, study the truth of the Bible, and learn to serve. AWANA is for:

Cubbies: 3 and 4 year olds

Sparks: Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade

    Truth and Training (T&T): 3rd grade - 6th grade

If you have children, we invite you to get them involved in AWANA. And we always need parents and other adults to volunteer (high school students are also welcome as leaders).

For more information about AWANA, please contact Marie Morris through the church office.
