GracePointe: An Evangelical Free Church logo

At GracePointe, we want to serve families by equipping and partnering with parents to disciple their children and fostering intergenerational relationships centered around God's word to enhance spiritual growth in all of us.

Our "Family Ministries" include KIDS classes and occasional activities, YOUTH gatherings and teaching, our AWANA program, and a developing ministry to YOUNG FAMILIES. (You can scroll down to learn more about all of these ministries, as well as see what's going on through visiting our Church Calendar)

GracePointe KIDS: We want to equip and partner with parents to develop kids who treasure Jesus Christ and love the Bible.

We offer classes for children age 4 through 5th grade on Sunday mornings during the latter half of our worship service. After joining in worship during the first part of the service, these children have the opportunity to attend classes where they are taught God's word at their level. Parents are always welcome to keep their kids with them for the entire service if they prefer. We provide a WEEKLY TAKE HOME RESOURCE for parents each Sunday. Childcare is available during the entire worship service in the nursery for children age 0-23 months as well as a class for 2 and 3 year olds in a room adjoining the nursery.

For more information about our Children's Ministry, please contact the church office.

GracePointe YOUTH: Our desire is to equip and partner with parents to develop teenagers who treasure Jesus Christ and have a Biblical worldview.

Our middle and high school students typically meet together two Tuesday nights per month to dig into God's word, worship Him, pray for each other, and have fun building friendships. We also have special events like paintballing and summer camp throughout the year so students can have fun and form connections with each other and their adult leaders. Check the Church Calendar for specific dates and times and make sure to also view our Upcoming Youth Events. You can also download forms for camps and events.

AWANA: AWANA stands for Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed (2 Timonthy 2:15). It is a Christ-based program for children age 3 through high school that meets on Sunday evenings (5:30 - 7:15 pm) from August to May. Children memorize God's word and earn rewards, play active games, study the truth of the Bible, and learn to serve. AWANA is for:

  • Cubbies: 3 and 4 year olds
  • Sparks: Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade
  • Truth and Training (T&T): 3rd grade - 6th grade
  • Trek: 7th - 8th grade
  • J24-7: 9th - 12th grade
  • If you have children, we invite you to get them involved in AWANA. And we always need parents and other adults to volunteer (high school students are also welcome as leaders).

For more information about AWANA, please contact Marie Morris through the church office.

GracePointe YOUNG FAMILIES: At GracePointe we seek to build authentic community among this group and equip these parents to disciple their children from the time they are young.

We plan on getting together regularly in informal settings as well as for organized activities and studies. This is truly a unique season in life and we hope to strengthen, encourage, and challenge these families.
