• RANDY HAMMONDS  co-senior pastor / elder

    Pastor Randy has been in ministry for over 30 years, with over 25 of those spent serving at Chapel in the Hills/GracePointe. Randy was born and raised in Tucson and came to Christ when he was 17. He graduated from Southwestern Bible College (now ACU) in Phoenix, Arizona, along with his wife, Wanda. They have 3 children and 9 grandchildren. Randy has a passion to reach southwest Tucson for Christ and also enjoys golf, U of A athletics, and spending time with his family.  

  • GABE PONCé  associate pastor of youth and worship / elder

    Gabe was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. He came to know Christ in 1989. He was raised in church helping with youth and music. He has been involved in ministry for over ten years. He moved away to Chicago, Illinois in 2001 to Moody Bible Institute where he graduated with a Bachelor's in Theology. He later attended Seminary at Grand Rapids Theological Seminary out of Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Michigan, He graduated with a Master's in New Testament. He is married to his wife Kimberly they have two children. Likes to write, listen to music, and eat Mexican food.

  • BOB ALLEN  co-senior pastor / elder

    Pastor Bob has been in ministry for over 50 years, and came to Desert Stream/GracePointe in 2009. He is dedicated to reaching our community with the good news of Jesus Christ. He is a graduate of Wheaton College, with post graduate work at Moody Bible Institute, Wheaton, Jerusalem University College and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He has served as President of the Arizona chapter of the National Association of Evangelicals. Bob’s wife of 52 years, Nancy, passed away in 2011. They have 7 children, 18 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.

  • Tracey Jorgensen  administrative assistant

    Tracey was born in Michigan and was raised on various military bases across the world.  She moved to Tucson in 1993 when the Air Force brought her family here.  Tracey met her best friend and husband, Paul in Misawa Japan and they have been married for 35 years.  Together they have 2 daughters and 1 son and 1 granddaughter.  She graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a Masters degree in Human Resources.  She has been a Christian since 1974 and loves to learn more about Jesus.   Tracey’s hobbies include reading, knitting, crocheting and quilting. 

  • Morgan Dailey  elder

    Morgan was raised in Tucson in a Christian home and came to know Christ at an early age, rededicating his life to Christ in his early thirties. Morgan and Laura married after he returned from serving in the US Army. Morgan has been involved in various ministries for over 35 years at both GracePointe and Chapel in the Hills. He enjoys hunting, camping, or anything outdoors, family time, building things, and tinkering with his classic truck.

  • Zach Freeland  elder

    Zach was born in Nogales, AZ, grew up in Show Low, San Manuel, and Tucson, and went to Pima Jr. College. He moved to the Green Valley area in 1977, selling and building homes for 37 years in southern AZ. He has been married 42 years to Dena, and together they have raised 4 sons and have 10 grandchildren. Zach has been a Christ follower since 1979 and was involved in various ministries at GracePointe as well as other churches through the years. He has a heart for the lost!

  • Bruce Severson  ELDER

    Bruce was born in a small town in Minnesota grew up working in the family construction business.  He accepted Christ the summer after high school in 1970, and shortly after he got involved in various outreaches.  He attended college and earned a degree in Highway Technology and later went to a Bible college for a One Year Bible Certification.  After much searching for His will in a companion, he was married to Diane in 1982.  He and Diane have two children, five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.  He intends to retire here in Tucson in a couple of years.  He enjoys building things and seeing others grow in their faith.

  • Al Nevarez  ELDER

    Al was born in Texas and raised in California from the age of 4 through 16.

    He moved here to Tucson with his family at 16.  It is here he met the love of

    his life Lestra, and they have been married over 40 years. Together they have

    2 sons and 5 grandchildren with a 6th on the way. Through an unfortunate

    illness of his eldest son, Jesus Christ saved the lives of all in this family.

    Al’s hobbies include photography, videography, model railroading,

    playing his accordion and melodica.
