meet our school staff!


  • Lisa LaRoque                         

    School Director

    Lisa is a Tucson native with a passion for education that began in her high school years. She majored in Early Childhood Education has taught pre-school through high school in a Christian school environment for over 15 years. She is married to Chris for 36 years, mother of 3 adult children and grandmother to 3.  3 John 1:4, “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth” expresses her heart for our GracePointe kids.

  • Tonya Lizarraga                       

    school administrative assistant

    Tonya joined our staff in 2017.  "I feel blessed to be a part of such a wonderful group of people with the goal of teaching children about the love God has for us and providing an excellent education for our children."  She is married with 3 children, 4 grandchildren and many Godchildren.  She loves cooking and spending time with family, friends and her beloved pets.

  • Breann LaRoque   

    teacher - 3 & 4 year olds ("bumble bees")

    BreAnn joined our staff in 2025 and is currently pursuing her bachelor's in Early Childhood Education. She has a genuine passion for nurturing young minds and loves watching her students grow. Married to her husband, Chris, for eight years, she is a proud mom of two wonderful children. Known for her willingness to lend a helping hand, BreAnn brings encouragement, dedication, and a strong faith in the Lord's plan to everything she does.

  • LYDIA MARTINEZ   

    teacher - kindergarten ("frogs")

    Lydia has been with our school since 2004! She loves the relationships she has developed with other staff members and helping children learn about God. She is married with 3 children and 6 grandchildren.

  • karmen ramonett  

    teacher - 1st grade ("eagles")

    Karmen joined our staff in the fall of 2024. She has been working in the education field since 2022. She loves the Lord and teaching children.

  • Melinda FUENTES   

    teacher - 2nd grade ("explorers")

    Melinda joined our staff in 2016. She has been working in the education field for numerous years. She loves working with the staff and students here at GracePointe and especially loves the small Christian environment.

  • andrew robinson   

    TEACHER - 3rD GRADE ("light keeperS")

    Drew  joined our staff in 2023.  


  • Myra Hursh

    teacher - 4th grade ("COYOTES")

    Mrs. Hursh has been in the education and hospitality field for years.  She enjoys serving others, whether it be through ministry or her career. She grew up at GracePointe and strives to live out its mission: loving God, loving people, and making disciples.

  • juny montes  

    teacher -  5th grade ("owls")

    Juny joined our staff in this academic school year of 2024-2025, as a Substitute Teacher. She comes to us with 20 years experience in Christian Education and working with students.   She loves the Lord and teaching children.
